CCCPA holds training course in Nigeria to prevent radicalization, extremism leading to terrorism

The Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping, and Peacebuilding (CCCPA) held a training course in Maiduguri, the capital of Nigeria's Borno State, focusing on strengthening the role of women's community leaders to prevent radicalization and extremism leading to terrorism".The Center also organized a workshop on A Comprehensive Approach to Dealing with Individuals Formerly Affiliated with Boko Haram and Islamic State (IS)," where Borno State faces Nigeria's greatest challenge in countering the threat of terrorism due to the high number of defectors from terrorist groups.

The organization of these two events is part of Egypt's continuous contributions to the efforts of African countries in the fight against terrorism and extremist ideology in accordance with Nigerian national priorities through the adoption of a comprehensive approach that takes into account the relevant pioneering Egyptian experience, which is one of the main axes of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development as a platform for the exchange of experiences.The training course was...
